postoffice thumb100 SABC News reports that the Communication Workers Union (CWU) says it, together with other unions at the SA Post Office (Sapo), still plan to down tools on Wednesday and Thursday this coming week to push for salary increases, which it says have not been paid for the past two years.  

Newly-appointed Sapo CEO Mark Barnes said a strike was unwarranted because the grievances of the unions were currently being attended to.  Sapo has faced some crippling strikes in recent years.
