earningsBusinessTech reports that data from CareerJunction’s (CJ’s) salary index shows which South African jobs saw the biggest jumps in offered salary between 2015 and 2016.  

The annual CJ salary review is based on over 30,000 South African job listings on the CJ website.  It tracks year-on-year changes in market-related pay across 10 sectors.  In 2016, most jobs covered by CJ saw an increase in average salaries, with 71 of 107 careers seeing pay climb.  However, 36 jobs saw the average salary offered drop – by as much as 60%.  The biggest climbers were investment bankers, while packers and packagers in the warehousing sector saw the biggest drop.  This report includes tables showing the salary changes in each sector.
