numsaeNCA reports that the National Union of Metalworkers of SA (Numsa) is expected to picket outside Eskom's head office in Johannesburg on Monday.  

The union will be supporting employees who are demanding better wages and working conditions.  The power utility has been embroiled in a wage dispute with another trade union, the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM).  The parties reached a deadlock in negotiations on Friday after the NUM demanded a wage increase of 12% for the highest paid and 13% for the lowest-paid employees.  Eskom is offering 7%.
