earningsSABC News reports that Eskom CEO Brian Molefe says he fails to understand why he should feel guilty about receiving a bonus when he met his targets of turning Eskom around.

He explained as follows:  "Bonuses are conditions of services and I did not draft the conditions of service.  We were given targets.  My targets were very simple and straight forward.  The two components of my targets were load shedding and financial turnaround.  We were able to demonstrate that the profits have grown.  The company is liquid and we have not had load shedding for a year and so in terms of the prior agreement with the board that would result in the bonus being paid, I did not understand why I am being made to feel guilty about it."
