joburgcityEWN reports that the City of Johannesburg said Metrobus commuters could expect an improvement in the operation of the service on Wednesday afternoon.

Some bus drivers went on strike on Tuesday allegedly demanding that the suspension of some of their colleagues be overturned.  City spokesperson Nthatisi Modingoane said:  “The other two depots which are Village Main and Milpark are now operating at 95% and Roodepoort is still at 100%.  So we are seeing improvement within operations this afternoon.”
