newseNCA reports that the body of a third suspected fisherman has been found off Seaview, Port Elizabeth, as devastated family members seek answers from management.

The R12-million fishing boat, called the Maredon, capsized and ran aground in St Francis Bay on Sunday after six days at sea.  Seven of the boat’s crew members survived, while six are still unaccounted for.  One of the survivors, Welcome Gumede, said that many of the crew members were asleep when the boat ran into strong waves.  It was on its first expedition for Balobi Fishing Enterprises.  Douglas Maduma of Balobi said although the company was holding meetings with the affected families, management was struggling to answer their questions as the SA Maritime Safety Authority investigation was still in its early stages.  Survivors and family members are receiving trauma counselling and food parcels as the long wait continues.  They've been told they will receive compensation, once the insurance company pays out.
