sidumodlaminiNews24 reports that S’dumo Dlamini, president of labour federation Cosatu, has lauded the role that struggle icon Winnie Madikizela-Mandela played in society and said that the struggle was to find leaders of the same calibre.

He visited the stalwart's home in Soweto on Wednesday to pay his respects and was accompanied by former president Jacob Zuma.  During an interview with eNCA, Dlamini said leaders needed to think deeply about how they would honour the legacy of heroes, such as Madikizela-Mandela.  He encouraged universities and historians to tell her story the right way.  Dlamini added that Madikizela-Mandela would expect the ANC and those within the alliance to work towards unity for the country.  He lambasted political leaders who failed to live up to her legacy.  "People are selfish.  People are consumed about themselves.  It's about me, me, me.  That has got to stop.  We must learn from these leaders.  We have got to change."
