strike thumb medium85 85EWN reports that the Outsourcing Must Fall movement says workers at the Tshwane South TVET College’s Atteridgeville campus have indicated that they will down tools from today (Tuesday).

They accuse management of refusing to listen to their demands.  Protesting workers and students shut down the campus on Monday, saying officials had failed to address issues of outsourcing and wage disputes.  The Department of Higher Education and Training had previously intervened, ordering that talks be held between concerned parties.  The movement’s Austin Mofya said:  “We’re going to completely shut down every service provided by those outsourced services.”
