ANA reports that the Democratic Alliance (DA) said on Sunday that eThekwini city manager S’bu Sithole needed to explain why buses have not been operating in Durban for the past three days.
“Commuters using Durban Transport buses to travel around eThekwini are once again stranded and inconvenienced as the privately owned buses again ran out of fuel,” DA eThekwini mayoral candidate Haniff Hoosen said. The situation was expected to cause more frustration on Monday when workers returned to work and children to school.
