Kouga Express reports that SA Municipal Workers’ Union (Samwu) members are set to march to the Kouga municipal building in Da Gama Street on Friday morning to hand over a list of grievances.
According to Samwu chairperson Sibongile Jujwana, they want to “defend the soul of the workers.” He added: “There are still a vast amount of workers being exploited within (the) municipality. This must stop.” ANC Deputy Secretary General, Jessie Duarte, will address workers after the march at the Newton Hall in Jeffeys Bay.
