EWN reports that an Uber driver is recovering in hospital after he was attacked, allegedly by a group of clients at the weekend in Cape Town.
It is understood that three men instructed the driver to stop near their arranged drop-off point in Manenberg when the incident occurred. The three suspects also allegedly torched the Uber driver's car. In a statement, Uber confirmed that one of its drivers was in a stable condition in hospital following Saturday’s attack.
