The draft rules were issued by the Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) for public comment, with a deadline of 15 August, and are available on the department’s website at www.dpsa.gov.za.  They will prevent all public servants from doing business directly or indirectly with the state, or being a director of a company that does business with the state.  No penalties are listed.
