TMG Digital reports that a man in his 60s was electrocuted on Friday when the industrial vehicle he was travelling in touched power lines in the Western Cape.
His colleague‚ who is in his 20s‚ sustained multiple burns and was transported to hospital for further medical care. The accident occurred on a farm near the R44 just outside Somerset West. Paramedics said they had tried to resuscitate the older man but, despite all efforts, he sadly died.
