Business Report writes that more than R3 billion will be invested in South Africa by the Amdec Group for five Marriott International branded hotels.  

These hotel developments are expected to have positive economic spin-offs, with about 8,000 construction-related jobs and more than 700 permanent new hospitality jobs expected to be created.  Marriott has further expansion plans for South Africa.
