Business Report writes that Minister of Mineral Resources Mosebenzi Zwane said on Wednesday he was concerned about the attacks on the government by some stakeholders in the mining sector, particularly attacks on President Jacob Zuma.
He indicated he would be convening “a high-level meeting with the sector to discuss this, as well as pertinent issues on health and safety.” According to the Minister, there have been 67 fatalities at mines since the beginning of the year, compared to 55 over the same period last year.
