ANA reports that the SA Police Service (SAPS) has called for assistance in locating the families of three dead illegal miners (also known as “zama zamas”) whose bodies were recovered from the Eland mine in Welkom in September.  

Two of the bodies had tags bearing the names Chengarai Madhuka” and “Paballo Khojane”, while the third body remains unidentified.  It is thought that the named deceased are from Zimbabwe and Lesotho.
