handcuffsANA reports that North West police advised on Wednesday that six men had been arrested for allegedly selling mine blasting certificates in Rustenburg.

A spokesperson said two Nigerian nationals, a South African and three Lesotho nationals, were arrested on Tuesday, in the Rustenburg Central Business District, after two of them unknowingly approached and offered to sell mine blasting certificates to police officials who were in civilian clothes.  The police confiscated fraudulent documents including matric certificates, vehicle licence discs, birth certificates, software and computers used to manufacture various documents.  Other items were also seized.  The men are due to appear in the Rustenburg Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
