fedusa thumb medium80 85Business Report writes that decent work for all and finding solutions to issues affecting the fiscus will be some of the burning issues discussed at trade union federation Fedusa’s sixth two-day national congress.

Fedusa general secretary Dennis George said that what was preventing many people from decent employment was poor leadership and corruption, amongst other factors.  “We also have situations where CEO salaries are high and the people at the bottom must only have crumbs of what’s left on the table,” said George at the congress in Johannesburg on Thursday.  Fedusa, which has 20 affiliated trade unions, will also elect its top leadership during the congress as its president, Koos Bezuidenhout, steps down.  Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the congress, along with Deputy Finance Minister Mcebisi Jonas and Labour Minister Mildred Oliphant.
