MyBroadband’s latest lifestyle survey shows that communications professionals, programmers and managers are the happiest IT professionals in their jobs, while tech support employees are the unhappiest. 

The survey was completed by 2,821 respondents, of whom 2,050 were IT professionals and IT executives.  IT professionals were asked how happy they were in their job, where respondents could choose between: Very happy, Happy, Middle-of-the-road, Unhappy, and Very unhappy.  The results showed that communications professionals in the IT market were the happiest in their jobs, while tech support were the unhappiest employees.  Yet, most IT professionals rated their job happiness as “Very happy” or “Happy”, while a small minority said they were “Unhappy” or “Very unhappy” in their jobs.
