TimesLive reports that Zimbabweans whose seven-year special dispensation visas will run out in December‚ have been given a reprieve.  

Many had feared they would have to return to Zimbabwe‚ leaving their jobs and homes behind.  However, the SA government announced that Zimbabweans on special dispensation visas‚ which were issued in 2010 and expire in December‚ can apply for new visas called Zimbabwe Exemption Permits (ZEP).  This report goes on to provide useful information about the permits.
