KaiserChiefsSunday World reports that a rebellion over an annual increase and a Christmas bonus at Kaizer Chiefs has erupted at the club's headquarters in Naturena.

This allegedly resulted in boss Jessica Motaung angrily wishing her father Kaizer Motaung could release her from her job and allow her to go work overseas.  The mutiny allegedly reached a fever pitch last week when Jessica's sister Kemiso wrote a stinging e-mail to staff members telling them to hit the road if they were not happy with their jobs.  Her alleged rant resulted in staff morale reaching its lowest ebb.  It also led to some staff members contemplating a boycott of the Christmas party to be held on Wednesday.  Three independent sources confirmed that the staff at Naturena were unhappy at not receiving their salary increases, which had been due in July this year.  A source also said staff morale had been affected by Jessica Moutaung’s apparent decision not to give them bonuses even though when they were employed they were told that the 13th cheque or December bonus was one of their benefits.  Another gripe related to the decision to force staffers to be members of a medical aid scheme which is one of the sponsors.  They consider the scheme to be too expensive.
