Mining Weekly reports that gold producers AngloGold Ashanti and Sibanye-Stillwater on Wednesday continued talks with the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (Amcu), Solidarity and Uasa regarding wage increases and conditions of employment.
The parties continued to engage in bilateral discussions and good progress was made, the Minerals Council South Africa (previously known as the Chamber of Mines) said. Discussions between the three unions and AngloGold Ashanti and Sibanye-Stillwater will resume again on Wednesday, 12 September 2018
