Mining Weekly reports that Harmony Gold indicated on Tuesday that a fall-of-ground incident at its Doornkop mine, near Johannesburg, had claimed the life of an employee.
The gold producer stated that an investigation into the incident was under way. Management expressed its deepest condolences to the deceased employee’s family, friends and colleagues.
