Mining Weekly reports that a Harmony Gold employee died in a surface rail locomotive related accident at the Doornkop gold plant on Sunday.  

CEO Peter Steenkamp said in a statement on Monday:  "Harmony management wish to express their deepest condolences to the deceased employee’s family, friends and colleagues.”  Harmony said it was working closely with the relevant authorities to carry out an investigation.
