eskomBL Premium reports that the Eskom Pension and Provident Fund (EPPF) has appointed Thandie Mashego as its new CFO.

Mashego, who is a qualified chartered accountant with 23 years of experience in finance and investment management, will start in her new role on 1 February. She joins the fund from Women’s Development Business (WDB) Investment Holdings where was the CFO since June 2016. Mashego was also previously the CFO of Vantage Capital Group between June 2014 and May 2016. Prior to her tenure with Vantage, she held various roles at the Industrial Development Corporation between May 2003 and May 2014. Mashego has a BCom honours in accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal as well as a master’s degree in business leadership from Unisa. The EPPF oversees about R180bn in assets under management on behalf of its more than 80,000 members.
