Mining Weekly reports that vanadium producer Bushveld Minerals has signed a five-year wage agreement with the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (AMCU).
Under the terms of the agreement, AMCU members who are employed by Bushveld will receive a 7% salary increase in 2023 and about 6.5% thereafter. The long-term agreement marked a first for the company and was an important step to maintaining operational stability, said CEO Fortune Mojapelo.
