hawksTMG Digital reports that Hawks (Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation) boss Lieutenant General Mthandazo Ntlemeza has warned that the team investigating the killing of police officers will stop at nothing in its quest to bring the killers to book.  

“We said it before that our claws are out for those who kill police officers.  An attack to a police officer is an attack to the security of the state and we are out to get whoever commits the cold act of threatening the safety and security of this country‚” Ntlemeza said.  He was commenting after the arrest of three suspects for the slaying of a Cape Town detective in Grassy Park in April.  They will appear in court on Wednesday.  Meanwhile‚ a suspect in the murder of another Cape Town policeman in April will appear in court on 12 July for a bail application hearing.
