BDLive reports that cellular operator MTN plans to outsource some of its call centre facilities in an attempt to optimise its operations, enhance customer experience and allow it to focus on its core competencies.
The company will retain some call centre facilities while others will be outsourced to a third party vendor. MTN said the outsource partners have a "sound financial track record and have an impeccable reputation in the call centre industry, having provided services to a number of companies in the retail, telecommunications and financial services sectors". The process is expected to be completed next month.
