richardsbaymineralsNews24 reports that a Richards Bay mining boss has been gunned down in an apparent hit, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Wednesday.  

Richards Bay Minerals (RBM) human resources manager Ronny Nzimande was shot while sitting in his car outside his house on Tuesday night, a police spokesperson said.  He was shot in the head, stomach and right arm and died in hospital.  The motive is still unknown and no arrests have been made.  According to RBM’s website, Nzimande joined the management team on 1 January 2015.
