graduate thumb100 SABC News reports that hundreds of students from the Maritime Business Computer College in Durban have been left stranded after the illegal college shut down without informing students.  

Police are currently investigating a case of fraud.  Security guards say the owners of the college moved all the furniture and vacated the building on Tuesday night.  Students had confronted CEO Jay Ramkisoon last week, who promised to refund them.  One student completed a shipping and industrial logistics diploma course in 2009, but she has not been issued with her diploma and remains without a job.  Her study fees were R28,000 a year.
