News24 reports that police are investigating the death of a worker who drowned in a wine vat in Malmesbury on Sunday.
Abraham Fortuin, 44, was found floating in a plastic vat in a factory in the industrial area of Malmesbury. He had been cleaning the tanks with a co-worker. Fortuin was allegedly overcome by fumes when he got into the vat to retrieve a bucket. He seemingly lost consciousness and then drowned in the knee-deep wine.
