BDLive reports that the parliamentary communications committee will meet the SABC board in the next fortnight on the Supreme Court of Appeal’s dismissal of a bid to appeal a judgment that the appointment of chief operations officer Hlaudi Motsoeneng was invalid.
Committee chairman Humphrey Maxegwana said: "The board has a fiduciary responsibility to provide corporate governance to the management of SABC and the corporation at large. It is against this backdrop that the committee seeks to meet with the board to hear how it is dealing with the court judgment."
