Fin24 reports that Gold Fields on Wednesday announced the resignation of its executive vice-president, Nico Muller, who will be leaving the company to take up the position of chief executive officer of Impala Platinum (Implats).
He will take up his new post 3 April 2017. The search for a replacement at Gold Fields has commenced. Implats said: "Mr Muller holds a BSc Mining Engineering degree and has had a 27-year mining career that has exposed him to multiple commodities, including platinum. He has a proven track record as a successful operator, a highly rated leader and a strategic thinker.”
