TMG Digital reports that three suspects allegedly linked to Monday’s murder of Sea Border Unit constable Mziwonke Siwisa will spend the long weekend behind bars after being arrested on Wednesday night.
Siwisa‚ who was stationed at Table Bay Harbour‚ “was allegedly shot and killed whilst reportedly on his way to work”‚ a Hawks statement indicated. His service pistol was stolen. The trio were nabbed in Kraaifontein‚ Bloekombos. Hawks head Lieutenant-General Mthandazo Ntlemeza said: “The claws are out for police killers. We promised that no stone will be left unturned in tracking those responsible for this heinous crime. We have maximised resources and continue to mobilise communities to identify and isolate those who have disregard for the rule of law in this country”.
