The Citizen reports that a Tronox Ltd employee lost his life and another was injured at the company’s Mineral Separation Plant in Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal, on Thursday morning.
Apparently, the employee who was injured was inspecting the site when the floor gave way and he fell some three stories down. The other employee was on the ground floor when the plant fell on top of him. The cause of the accident is under investigation. Tronox is an American worldwide chemical company involved in the titanium products industry.
