News24 reports that four children at a facility for troubled boys have allegedly killed a supervisor there, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Tuesday.
The 40-year-old man was a supervisor at the Excelsior Place of Safety in Pinetown. Police said the victim was found with multiple stab wounds on Monday. The motive of the killing is unknown at this stage.” Pinetown police are investigating a case of murder. Excelsior Place of Safety is a government organisation that accommodates boys aged 13 to 17. It runs a short-term residential facility together with an intervention programme that is intended to help boys awaiting trial.
