EWN reports that police say more arrests are imminent following the murder of a security guard in Hanover Park last week. Eldridge Lucas was shot and killed when a group of men hijacked a cigarette delivery van he was travelling in.
So far, police officers have managed to track down five suspects in hideouts in Delft and Nyanga. They've been charged with murder and hijacking and appeared in court on Friday. Two vehicles used during the hijacking had been reported stolen in Kraaifontein earlier this month. Officials have confiscated both vehicles.
