Police arrest four suspects for Northam violence, including murder suspect

ANA reports that four people, including a murder suspect, were arrested at the Northam platinum mine near Thabazimbi in Limpopo during an operation in the area of the mine on Monday night.

NUM members resume work at Northam, but not Amcu

Reuters reports that the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) said its members would return to work for the nightshift on Tuesday at Northam Platinum’s Zondereinde after staying away since Monday last week after violence broke out at the site.
