eNCA reports that police are now escorting fuel tankers because they've been targeted by striking workers in the fuel sector.
The wage strike has reached it seventh day and involves 15,000 workers. Hundreds of fuel stations are running dry, especially in Gauteng. The Fuel Retailers' Association says that about 10% of fuel stations in Gauteng have already run dry. That equates to about 5% of national fuel stations.
